A couple of important events coming up this week. 

School Council Meeting

On Wed June 10, we will have our last School Council meeting of the year.  6:00 PM in the Learning Commons.   

Year-End Carnival

Then on Thursday, June 11 from 4:00-6:00 PM we will host our year end Carnival.  This event includes a barbeque offered by the Rotary Club of Calgary followed by lots of fun carnival events in the school or outdoors weather permitting. The purpose of this event is to celebrate a great school year through a fun event for our school community. The event is organized by teachers and parents/guardians from our School Council.

Grade 6 Outdoor School - Forms Due

A reminder to grade 6 parents to please return your permission forms for Grade 6 Outdoor School. On June 22-23, our grade 6 students will be going to an overnight camp at Project Kampfire at Sibbald Lake in Kananaskis Country. Students will be participating in lots of fun and education activities including flatwater lake canoeing and archery.

A big shout out to West Dover School Council for organizing an amazing informative session with Jo Phillips, a Certified Youth Resilience Coach and Restorative Justice Practitioner, who lead a session for us called 'Talk to Me - Helping your kids navigate the digital world without losing them in the process'.  This was a recorded session and we plan to share the link to the google meets session in the near future.
