Dear West Dover Families,

I am pleased to announce that we have hired a new Assistant Principal. Clara Devos will begin in her role as Assistant Principal on Monday Oct 6, 2025. Clara comes to us from Col Sanders School where she has been working as an Acting Assistant Principal.

Ms Devos has written an introduction to West Dover families that you will find below.

Letter of Introduction from Ms Devos

Dear West Dover Families

I am so excited to be the Assistant Principal at West Dover School! I have been a teacher for over 15 years, working with students from Kindergarten to Grade 6. I have also been the Acting Assistant principal in two different K-4 schools.

I believe that nature is a great teacher! Spending time outside helps us learn and feel calm. My favourite place in nature is New Brunswick where I grew up. I go back every summer to visit my family. I love the ocean, sandy beaches, and fields of wildflowers. When I'm not at school, I enjoy reading, travelling, hiking, and spending time outside with my family. I'm so excited to learn with you!
