Greetings West Dover Families

A few things of note for the coming week.  Friday, Dec 19 is our last day of school before Winter Break.  Winter Break begins Saturday Dec 20, 2025 and ends Sunday Jan 4, 2026.  We return to school on Monday, Jan 5, 2026.  

On Friday Dec 19, School Council will be delivering hot chocolate (no marshmallows) to every student in the school.  This is of course optional, and you or your child can say that they don't want to participate.   Just for fun, Friday, Dec 19 will be a school spirit day where children can wear their onesies or pajamas on the last day of school.  Students should still have socks and undergarments on under the pajamas or onesies.

We had our winter concert last Thursday evening.  It was wonderful to see so many families at school enjoying the concert.  

An announcement, we have hired a teacher to fill in for Ms Moir.  I'd like to introduce Ms Carrie-Lee Ash.  Ms Ash worked for 18 years as an Education Assistant in a specialized setting class similar to our EES classes.  She has been working as a Teacher for the past 2.5 years and comes to us from Cambrian Heights School and OS Geiger School.  Welcome Ms Ash.
