Greetings West Dover Families

Dec 18-22 is the final week of school before Winter Break. On Thursday, Dec 21 at 145pm, please join us for our December Assembly in the gym. Friday, Dec 22 is a school spirit day - on this day children are welcome to where onesies or pyjamas. On Dec 22, School council members will visit classrooms and offer children a hot chocolate.

Winter break runs from Dec 23 until Jan 7, 2024. Our first day back at classes is Monday, Jan 8, 2024.

On Dec 21, when you are at school, please check the lost and found clothing. If it is unclaimed on Dec 22, we will deliver it to the Women in Need store in West Dover.

A reminder, parents are welcome to volunteer in our school. We are still looking for some parent volunteers for our May 2024 whole school field trip to Tyrell Museum in Drumheller. Please talk to your child's teacher about this if you can volunteer on May 2, 2024.

I am happy to introduce a couple of new staff members at our school. Mr Ron is our new Facility Operator. Ms Carrie is a new Education Assistant.
