Greetings West Dover Families

What an incredible week we had last week.  All of the EES and K-2 students participated in snowshoeing, the grade 3-4 classes all recevied 4.5 hours of instruction in cross country skiing from Foothils Nordic Ski Club, and the grade 5 students were at Telus Spark Science Center all day, each day last week.   On top of that, all K-4 students went to the Jack Singer Concert Hall to watch a performance by the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra.

This coming week is a short week with school occurring only on Monday to Wednesday.  On Wed Feb 14 at 530pm in the learning commons at school, School Council invites you to join their monthly meeting.  On Thursday and Friday this coming week there is no school due to Teachers Convention.  It is an extra long weekend coming up as Monday Feb 18 is Family Day in Alberta.
