Greetings West Dover Families

This past week we had the very popular hot dog day start up again. This is made possible through a couple of donations from the community. I'd like to report that we had a very successful start up week for our new grade 3 and 4 classroom configurations. Welcome again to Ms. Hendsbee, our new grade 3 teacher.

A note about a couple of upcoming events. On Wed March 13 at 4:30pm we will be hosting a parent information night for grade 5 parents and students for the Outdoor School trip planned for June 10-12 with Kamp Kiwanis. All grade 5 parents, please put this on your agenda. Following the parent information session, School Council will hold its monthly meeting. Of note at this month's session will be a presentation about a parent survey regarding programming and fees at our school. The survey will be emailed to all families attending West Dover School on Wednesday March 13 and stay open until Sunday, March 31.

We are back into winter time. A reminder to dress kids well for their walk to school.

There is an upcoming event at the Calgary Library offered by Hull Patch program in Dover. I've attached a poster about this opportunity. This poster can be accessed in the "related information" panel on the right-hand side of this page.
