Greetings West Dover Families,
I'd like to start with some recognition of our Parent Association and express appreciation for their fundraising efforts that make a big difference for learning opportunities at our school. Many of our field trips would not be possible if it were not for the fundraising efforts undertaken by our Parent Association - thank you.
This Coming Week
- Wednesday, May 21 - 2pm - School Council Bylaw review committee is meeting in the office to draft changes to the School Council Bylaws. All are welcome.
- Thursday, May 22 - 5-7 pm - Kindergarten Open House - please share with friends and neighbour who have Kindergarten age children entering school in September to learn about our full day Kindergarten programs.
We would like to welcome Ms Neirmeen Shahine to our Lunchroom Supervisor staff. In addition, we are pleased to share that Ms Cassie Grassl has been hired into an Education Assistant role.
At our School Council meeting last week, parents shared their priorities in response to the prompt - 'What do you most want for your child at West Dover School?' The top responses parents gave were 'Academic Success' and 'A Sense of Wellbeing'
