Greetings West Dover Families

I would like to welcome Clara Devos our new Assistant Principal. Her first day on staff will be Oct 6, 2025.

As Principal at West Dover School, I want to share the great privilege it is work with your children and the staff at our school every day.  In addition it is always a satisfying and important part of my work to connect with parents to ensure the success of every child West Dover School.  We have a very special school community that focuses on building a safe, caring, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment where every child and every family has a sense of belonging in our school. The mission of the Calgary Board of Education is

The mission at West Dover School is 'Every child learns, every child succeeds'.

We know that kids are most successful in learning when they have a teacher who creates meaningful, engaging learning experiences and who uses assessment to guide the next steps in learning.
