Greetings West Dover Families

A couple of items for this coming week:

Thursday, Sept 25 - Orange Shirt Day.  This is a day to reaffirm that every child matters.  It is a day to honour residential school survivors.  It is a day where there is an opportunity for First Nations, local governments, schools and communities to come together in the spirit of reconciliation and hope for future generations of children.

Friday, Sept 26 - this will be our last day with Ms Shantz, our acting Assistant Principal.  Thank you Ms Shantz for your contributions to our school community.

Last week we had a couple of important events:

• Monday, Sept 15 - Terry Fox Run
• Thursday, Sept 18 - Meet the Teacher Night - thank to all of you who were able to make it.
