Greetings West Dover Families

This coming week there is no school on Friday Nov 24. This is because Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled for this coming week. Parent-Teacher Conferences are taking place between 4-7pm on Thursday Nov 23 and between 8-1130am on Friday Nov 24. Parent-Teacher Conferences are meant to provide an opportunity for parents/guardians and teachers to talk about each child's learning - where they are at in their learning and where they are going next in their learning. Students are also invited to attend.

Some good questions to discuss with your child's teacher are:

• How is my child doing with reading skills?
• How is my child doing with mathematics skills and understanding?
• How is my child doing with regards to resiliency skills?

Teachers will have a portfolio of samples of student work to share. Student work will be on bulletin boards that show the learning journey. Our music teacher will also be available if you would like to talk with her. If there are items you would like to discuss with myself or Mr Allen, our Assistant Principal, we are also available to chat.

If you ordered jackets through Jacket Racket, they will be available for pick up during conference times. The Rotary Club has donated 20 pairs of new winter boots. If your child needs winter boots, please check in at the office and talk with Ms Nicholls.
